In the opener, Anthony Froemke moved to 5 and 0 on the season, as he struck out 10 batters, while limiting Newport to 6 hits. The bats were popping as Froemke, Stillar, Corigliano and Richards all registered 2 hits, with Dukes having 2 RBI's. The final score was 7 to 1.

In game two, Lakeside exploded for 12 runs in the first inning, while setting a school record for hits in a game at 21. Anthony Froemke also set an individual school record, for hits in a game, as he went 6 for 6, with 2 doubles, four singles, and 2 RBI's. (Wow!) Kyle Stillar had 3 hits, with a triple, and 3 RBI's. Rylin Dukes had 3 hits, including his 5th HR, with 2 RBI's and Travis Corigliano also had 3 hits, including 2 doubles (3 for the day). EJ Scott contributed 2 hits and 2 RBI's, in a reserve roll.
