Lakeside seniors lead the way

Anthony Froemke, Johnny Gilrein, Rylin Dukes, Travis Corigliano, Scott Richards, Nic Phillips and Phil Harrison made their final home game, as a Lakeside Eagle, a memorable one, as they took two from the Freeman Scotties.

Froemke moved to 6 and 0 on the season, as he struck out 9 Scotties, while giving up 3 hits in a 13 to 3 romp. Leading the offense was Gilrein who smacked 2 doubles (3 RBI's), while Froemke and Kyle Stillar (2 RBI's) had 3 hits apiece. Dukes added a triple to the assault.

In game two, Lakeside was led by Jake Graham, with two doubles and 2 RBI's. Rylin Dukes also had 2 hits, including his 7th HR of the season and 4 RBI's. Dukes was also the winning pitcher, with Gilrein getting the save. The final score was 11 to 5. Well done Eagles!

A special thanks to Kathy Graham who presented the each of the 7 seniors with a framed "action shot" and cupcakes!

Next up, @ Chewelah, Tuesday, May 1st.
