Lakeside sweeps Colfax

Lakeside boys baseball continued their winning ways, as they won both ends of a doubleheader at Colfax. In a sloppy first game, Lakeside scored 2 unearned runs in the top of the 7th inning to pull out a 5 to 4 victory. Johnny Gilrein had 3 hits for Lakeside, while Anthony Froemke went the distance, striking out six and giving up 3 hits.

In the second game, Rylin Dukes recorded the win, while striking out 5 and giving up 6 hits. Freshman Brenden Herzer led the offense with 2 hits and 3 RBI's. Anthony Froemke and Adam Vierra each had 2 hits, with Travis Corigliano and Kyle Stillar contributing 2 RBI's apiece. The final score was 9 to 3.
