Need athletic information

UPDATED 2/13/07:

If you know the results of this year's wrestling meets so far so I can complete the wrestling schedule results post, please e-mail the web master at yephiah@yahoo.com.

People have given me the following state championships:

Volleyball (3) 99, 00, 01 (2A)
Girls basketball (2) 98, 01 (2A)
Boys cross country (3) 97, 98 (2A) 06 (1A)

If you know the teams, years, and level (2A, 1A) of the rest of the 14 Lakeside state championships, please e-mail the web master at yephiah@yahoo.com so we can post them in the header of the blog site.

I have team reps for boys basketball, girls basketball, cheer squad and wrestling beginning to post to the site. If you are the appointed team representative who has been asked to post updates of games to this web site for the other teams, please e-mail the web master at yephiah@yahoo.com so he can give you a password to blogger.com so you can start to make your posts. If no one has stepped up yet, and you have access to a computer and would like to make the posts, volunteer. Posting articles is as easy (really!) as composing an e-mail (just exactly like composing and sending an e-mail, in fact).

Thank you. Let's work together to make this site useful, informative, up-to-date and a way to boost excitement about Lakeside athletics. Get involved, join the Booster Club and support your Lakeside athletic teams.

Go Eagles!

End of an era

Here is a great article, posted January 11, 2007, at SpokesmanReview.com from sports writer Mike Vlahovich on Scott Jones, Lakeside's wrestling coach. Under his leadership, the Eagles have won five state team titles. Enjoy the article...
