Boys and girls X-C going to state

REVISED 10-29-08: DISTRICT 7 HAS COMBINED ITS SINGLE STATE ALLOCATION WITH DISTRICT 6'S TWO, SO LAKESIDE BOYS WILL NEED TO GO TO A REGIONAL MEET AND WIN ONE OF THE THREE COMBINED DISTRICT 6/7 ALLOCATIONS IN ORDER TO GO TO STATE.

Both the boys and girls Lakeside varsity cross country teams secured their respective single District 7 allocation to the state meet November 8th with their wins at the District meet in Chewelah this afternoon.

Lakeside JV boys and JV girls raced each other as no other NEA school entered a full JV squad. [Edited 10-29-08 for accuracy]

Lakeside boys go into the 1A championship meet ranked #1 in state, while the girls are #10 as of today. King's is the top ranked 1A girls team in state.
